Eric Lankford grew up in the Nashville, Tennessee area and is of Native American descent, Cherokee and Iroquois.  As a child, Eric molded clay into various shapes of interest.  In high school, he learned to weld as part of his life on a farm.  In his adult years, Eric fused his love for art with his fascination with welding.  His one of a kind creations are rooted in parts found from a wide variety of sources.  Eric chooses his subject matter based on the material he uses.

His work can be found in private collections as well as on public display at Holland Park in Tennessee.  His talents garnered the attention of "Tennessee Crossroads," a television show that highlights local artists.

Eric Lankford will be in the Gallery on Saturday, July 31st from 1 PM to 5 PM discussing his various welding techniques and his endless creativity!
