Rick Zenna was raised in the Northeast and is a graduate of Seton Hall University.
After several years in the software industry, Rick decided to pursue his childhood passion and talent for the fine arts. While experimenting with Oils, Acrylics, Watercolors and Graphite, he decided to concentrate on Watercolors. Over the past 5 years, he has taken several classes with Elly Hobgood and Gary Curtis to hone his skills and diversify his style.
With his current focus on the delicate, subtle methods of Watercolor, Rick's creature paintings and florals refllect the fluidity of the medium through his controlled uses of washes and colors. His attention to finer details in each piece and ability to create such color depth is what makes his artistry stand out.
Come and see Rick on Saturday, August 14th from noon to 4 PM as he uses his various technques to bring his subject matters to life!!
